Job Overview: The preference is North Carolina in Winston-Salem or Greensboro; Troy, MI; or Wayne, PA; or Remote on the East coast. We are building a world class Global Trade Services (GTS) organization and the Senior Manager, GTS Automotive Americas will play a critical role in supporting trade operations and compliance within the Business Unit (BU). The Senior Manager, GTS Automotive Americas serves as the trade lead and advisor within TE's Operational Compliance team for the BU, and is the primary point of contact to the Automotive Americas Business Unit leadership team. The purpose is to ensure TE's compliance, at the Business Unit level, with import and export regulations globally to enhance global trade compliance, reduce risk, drive a proactive, forward-looking approach to identifying and resolving issues and to capturing trade opportunities, and facilitate effective operational aspects of international trade.

Responsibilities: Lead the regional Trade Compliance activities in the BU Lead trade operations and provide compliance oversight for Automotive Americas BU to ensure TE's compliance with import/export laws and regulations Establish and maintain trade operations and compliance activities in accordance with TE policies, procedures, and controls, in collaboration with key stakeholders throughout the BU Act as the point of contact for the AUT Americas leadership on all trade-related matters. Engage BU stakeholders and counsel to understand business changes and develop trade-related solutions/strategies and controls to ensure compliance Maintain BU-level Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the operations In partnership with GTS Governance, establish and maintain relationships with trade-related government entities Build, lead, develop and retain a high-performing regional trade team of trade compliance professionals, ensuring clear role clarity, accountability, and succession coverage for critical positions Define and execute the Automotive Americas trade strategy and operating priorities, translating enterprise and BU objectives into regional plans, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes Lead the regional trade organization across the Americas, leading through managers and senior trade professionals, with accountability for talent, succession, priorities, and performance Own the regional operating plans and resources, including resource allocation, performance expectations, and budget requirements Own regional trade performance, risk, service delivery, and value-creation outcomes, including corrective actions and continuous improvement Serve as the accountable GTS leader for Automotive Americas trade matters and as advisor to Americas Business Leadership on key trade-related business decisions
