Job Details:

• Location: Carmichael, California
• Shift: Days, from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities and holiday call required. The schedule includes a total of 40 hours per week and a shift length of 10 hours.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of cath lab experience, certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), BLS Certification, and COVID-19 vaccination. Candidates must have valid licensing verification and experience with Cerner electronic medical records system.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Call for holidays. Assignments are rotating and assigned. The position involves scrub experience for PCI/STEMI suites/labs, with an average of 8 cases per day. The unit handles cardiac and peripheral invasive procedures but does not include structural heart procedures or "dirty" procedures such as G tubes. The team operates 24/7 with on-call coverage for IV Therapy, pharmacy, and cardiologist hours. Orientation depends on skill level, typically 1 or 2 shifts.
