About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Head of Litigation to establish and oversee a top-tier enterprise litigation function. This pivotal role is focused on the strategic management and resolution of a wide range of legal matters, including commercial and contract disputes, antitrust and competition-related issues, securities and shareholder litigation, employment disputes, and government investigations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the global strategy in these areas, building scalable operating models, and providing expert legal advice to the senior leadership and the Board of Directors. The role demands a leader with a strong business orientation, the ability to build and maintain effective processes, and a proven track record in managing complex legal issues. Applicants for this role at the company should have a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, with at least 15 years' post-JD experience in complex litigation and investigations, ideally with a background that includes both leading law firm experience and substantial in-house experience at a public company. The role requires deep expertise in a variety of legal matters, including experience with antitrust and competition law. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in and preferably experience with, technology, analytics, and AI-enabled legal tools. Strong leadership, management, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth, mission-driven environment. The Executive Director will also be expected to drive continuous improvement in litigation operations and to partner cross-functionally to identify and mitigate emerging dispute risks.
