Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at our Parkside Recovery Program in our Germantown location in Philadelphia, PA location.
The Medical Assistant will:
- prepare rooms for examination
- maintain steady flow of individuals in medical department
- prepare electronic charts for providers
- assist providers with the examination of individuals
- measure vital signs
- draw and collect bodily fluids, prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
- respond to medical emergencies
- complete EKGs
- complete required documentation in a timely manner
Earn $19.24 per hour (40 hrs per week)

A qualified candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Medical Assistant valid certification
- Certification in phlebotomy preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year working as a medical assistant, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
- Must be able to work: Monday-Friday, 6:30-3:00 pm
