Global Manufacturing ERP Strategy Lead

Gilead Sciences seeks a Global Manufacturing ERP Strategy Lead to establish and govern enterprise resource planning processes across clinical and commercial manufacturing sites. This role owns the target-state process architecture, leads cross-functional transformation initiatives, and drives adoption of SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based systems to support compliant, scalable operations.
Responsibilities
- Establish target-state process architecture, governance, and manufacturing business roadmap for ERP systems
- Define performance metrics and decision frameworks for process sustainability and continuous improvement
- Lead end-to-end process mapping and optimization across clinical and commercial manufacturing
- Lead cross-functional manufacturing process governance and approve standards, requirements, and controls
- Own business readiness, adoption strategy, and training for process changes across global sites
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 12+ years relevant experience, or Master's/Ph.D. with 10+ years experience
- Proven leadership of large-scale SAP implementations in manufacturing or life sciences
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and quality systems
- Experience with ERP transformation, process governance, and digital manufacturing strategy
- Cross-functional leadership ability spanning manufacturing, IT, finance, supply chain, and quality
- Strong understanding of compliance, audit readiness, and regulatory requirements
