Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Repair Technician who will be responsible for rebuilding and repairing industrial equipment. This role operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. You will have the opportunity to learn additional skills in hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting and repair from factory-trained OEM technicians.

• Rebuild and repair industrial equipment.
• Operate a variety of hand tools, including power tools.
• Perform hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Handle building maintenance, cleaning, and other tasks as assigned.

• Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Proficiency in mechanical repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance.
• Welding and sheet metal fabrication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Competence in installation and repair of heavy equipment.

• Professional, organized, and a team player with a positive attitude.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to plan, work efficiently, stay on task, and remain teachable.
• Reliable transportation and personal tools required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in mechanics.
• Machine electrical knowledge and experience reading blueprints are a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley City, OH.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Valley City,OH.
