**Job Description****UW Medical Center – Northwest** has an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse who is interested in working at our Childbirth Center. We have opportunity for an **experienced nurse in Labor and Delivery** . **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**· The autonomy to practice to highest level of license.· Assist in the labor and delivery process· Administration of medication, including epidurals.· Help mother and baby in baby’s first breastfeeding· Assist in mother and baby couplet care.**SCHEDULE:**· 90% Night shift (3X12hr/week)**REQUIREMENTS:**· **Two or more years** as a Labor and Delivery Nurse.· Have/Obtain a RN license to practice in Washington state or MSL.· Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.**ABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER-NORTHWEST** UW Medical Center is an acute care hospital located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest.
