Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit coverage. The position requires prior travel experience and a current license, with a focus on night shifts and strict compliance policies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting.
• Adhere to facility protocols, including mandatory drug screening and documentation requirements.
• Complete required documentation and charting using Altera or similar electronic health record systems.
• Ensure lab work and other clinical tasks are completed within designated timeframes, typically 72 hours.
• Participate in orientation modules, typically non-billable, to facilitate seamless integration.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in good standing.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent travel nursing experience in a similar service line.
• Demonstrate proficiency in charting and electronic documentation systems.
• Be able to pass a drug screen that includes Marijuana, with no positive results.
• Be prepared to work night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00 - 7:00).
