Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Response in Colorado Springs, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and stakeholders while supporting a welcoming environment. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior workspaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and assist with directing visitors and vendors to appropriate locations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
