Senior Human Resource Specialist – Distribution & Receive Centers Pay range: $20.82 – $37.45 per hour, with an additional shift differential of $2.00 to $3.50 per hour based on eligibility. Pay is determined by labor markets, education, work experience and certifications. Responsibilities Act as a key partner and reliable resource to ensure HR programs are delivered accurately and efficiently, with a strong focus on the team‑member experience. Provide guidance and operational support for onboarding, workforce routines, required training documentation, day‑to‑day HR services, and organizational change. Apply best practices and standard procedures to support staffing, retention, engagement, and compliance needs, enabling teams to achieve business outcomes. Engage with site leadership, HR partners, cross‑functional teams and, when necessary, external candidates or vendors for staffing, onboarding and HR process execution. Approach all work with a solutions‑oriented mindset, delivering services with accuracy, consistency and care for the team. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of administrative experience. Positive, respectful attitude while working independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and computer systems (e.g., Excel, Word, Office 365). Strong customer/client service skills and effective written and verbal communication at all organizational levels. Ability to anticipate problems, prioritize, organize, catch errors and complete tasks accurately and on time. Capacity to handle highly confidential information, take initiative, and make fair and consistent decisions aligned with Target’s strategy and values.
