Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 or 48 Hours Per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department, with a significant portion of the patient population consisting of admitted and ED holding patients
• Administer medications, including IV medications, in accordance with the seven medication rights
• Document and communicate clinical findings accurately and in a timely manner
• Manage admitted hold patients within the Emergency Department setting
• Float to Adult PCUs based on staffing needs; optional floating to Pediatric ED and potential floating to ED Holding and Trauma based on experience
• Adhere to weekend scheduling requirements, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (state license may be pending at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience (1.5 years may be considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications — TNCC must be obtained prior to submission; NIH may pend until compliance document due date
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records
• RQI certifications are not accepted; standard certification equivalents required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (non-local candidates only; non-local driver's license required on file)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred; first-time travelers with 2+ years of Level I Trauma experience may be considered
• Level I Trauma center experience preferred
• Experience managing high volumes of admitted and boarding patients in an ED environment
