Non-Destructive Test Quality Test Specialist

Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Quality Test Specialist – West Jordan, Utah Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an NDT Quality Test Specialist with NAS 410 or equivalent Level II certification in Ultrasound to join our Composite Fabrication team. The successful candidate will develop, conduct, improve, and correct non‑destructive inspection techniques, analyze data, and communicate recommendations to management. Position Responsibilities Performs setup for specialized non‑destructive test or measurement equipment. Develops procedures and processes. Performs tests or inspections and collects data. Documents, analyzes, and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations. Provides communication on adverse trends. Maintains responsibility of non‑destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products. Conducts certification preparation training. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) NAS 410 or equivalent Level II or higher certification in Ultrasound method. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Level 3 – 3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.). Level 4 – 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.). 1+ years working with Automated NDT inspection equipment. 1+ years of experience in Eddy Current (ET) and Dye Penetrant (PT). 1+ years with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. 1+ years of experience with data analysis and/or data mining. Experience working under pressure in a fast‑paced role with strict deadlines. Experience working both independently and in team environments. Pay Range Level 2: $57,800 – $78,200 Level 3: $68,000 – $92,000 Level 4: $79,900 – $108,100 Export Control Requirements This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements.
