Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students through occupational therapy in a dynamic elementary school setting near Kingston, NY. Bring your expertise to a collaborative educational environment, sharing therapy space with physical therapy professionals, and play a vital role in both general education and MTSS support.

This full-time role follows a structured 8:00 am to 3:00 pm schedule, spanning the academic year from September 2nd through June 24th. You'll engage in a robust mix of direct sessions (approximately 8 daily), partnering closely with other specialists to help students thrive. The first day on-site will include a team meeting on September 2nd, with students arriving on September 3rd. Occupational therapy services will extend to a variety of students, providing ample opportunity to apply your skills and adapt interventions creatively.

What you’ll bring:

• Valid state licensure and credentials to practice as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting
• Experience delivering OT services within elementary schools or pediatric populations, especially supporting general and MTSS students
• Skill balancing a full caseload while collaborating with other professionals in shared therapy environments
• Strong communication and adaptability for coordinating with educators, specialists, and families
• Commitment to student-centered care and inclusive education

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy sessions for general education and MTSS students (8 per day)
• Develop and implement individualized plans, documenting progress and outcomes
• Collaborate in a shared space with the physical therapy team
• Engage in staff meetings, particularly the initial meeting day on September 2nd
• Flexibly address student therapy needs, including billing for snow days as allowed
