Sample Custodian - Eurofins Environment Testing South Central, Stafford, TX

Eurofins Environment Testing South Central is looking for a Sample Custodian in Stafford, TX.

This position is expected to assist oversee all the different aspects of shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and logging samples. Prepare samples from processing. Accepts and signs for deliveries. Assists in unloading shipments from delivery truck. Uses dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock and around Sample Receiving area. Opens coolers and inspects contents of shipments. Checks documentation to ensure all samples are accounted for. Distributes samples in different departments as appropriate. Follows strict safety and quality control procedures. Stores, restocks, and shelves samples as necessary. Ensures that work area is clean and organized. Enters records in LIMS system. This role will also serve as a back up driver as needed.

Qualifications include a clean driving record, high school or GED, customer service orientation, good oral and written English language skills, ability to work under pressure, ability to move around, stand for long periods of time, sit for long periods of time, squat and lift containers up to 50 pounds, authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship, and professional working proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

This is a full-time position Tuesday to Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm with possible overtime. Training will take place Monday to from 9 am to 6 pm. Compensation: $20/hour. Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
