A 40-bed rehabilitation hospital in Meridian, ID, is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis starting as soon as possible. This opportunity offers a Monday through Friday day shift schedule, supporting a collaborative healthcare environment focused on quality patient care.
Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, providing consultation to nurses and physicians, and managing pharmacokinetics. The role requires strong communication skills to work effectively within the multidisciplinary team and ensure medication safety and efficacy for patients.
Desired qualifications:
- Current Idaho pharmacist license or ability to obtain it promptly
- Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Proficiency with Cerner pharmacy information systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient-centered care
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shift
