Performs all duties, assignments and routines as assigned by Supervisor.2. Must be able to drive a large truck in the safest way possible.3. Deliver refrigerated, dry food and previously prepared food items to schools and obtain authorized signature for food items delivered.4. Responsible for delivering and returning cabinets, pans, utensils and other equipment to the schools and from the Food Production Center within the time allowed for that route.5. Responsible for caring for all equipment used in transporting food and responsible for any other equipment assigned.6. Responsible for checking truck daily to insure a safe and dependable operation, including oil checks, battery checks, water, tires, lighting accessories and fuel and maintaining vehicles in a clean appearance.7. Responsible to record vehicle standards status on daily chart.8. Must maintain required standards of personal hygiene.9. Must follow necessary precautions in use of chemicals.10. Demonstrate responsibility by carrying driver's license at all times, as required by state law.11. Responsible for maintaining a current driver's license failure to do so, may result in termination.12. Demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively with fellow employees.13. Must demonstrate a constructive and cooperative attitude toward assigned duties.14. Must participate in all in-service training sessions and relevant workshops.15. Must complete all mandatory online trainings in a timely manner.16. Must demonstrate good attendance, punctuality, and proper use of time.17. Assist the Child Nutrition maintenance dept. with power washing floors/walls and painting at school cafeterias and Food Production Center as needed.18. Assist in the Child Nutrition operation as needed for deliveries, food preparation and serving at school cafeterias and Food Production Center as needed.19. Verify accuracy of shipments by counting, weighing, or measuring items and comparing size, weight, description and code numbers with information on invoice or packing slip and purchase orders; record any discrepancies or damages.20. Open crates and other containers using hand tools to unpack items received and inspect for damage and defects.21. Sort and store items according to established procedures.22. Read and fill requisitions for stock items; verify accuracy of orders pulled.23. Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, including forklift, pallet jack and handcart.24. Load and unload delivery truck by hand and by mechanical equipment, including forklift, pallet jack and handcart.25. Maintain custody receipts for items being repaired and loaned out temporarily.26. Be available by phone, email, or video conferencing during regular business hours to confer with district personnel.27. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job responsibility unless instructed to work from home by supervisor.28. Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.29. Usage of personal equipment, including but not limited to personal cellular phone, personal computer, and personal internet service when working from home during a District closure due to government or Board order or during an emergency affecting normal District operations.30. Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities as may be assigned by supervisor.
