The Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) is recruiting to fill a Supervisor II position in the Professional Conduct Northern Bureau in the Peace Officer Standards Accountability Division.

Working Conditions

This position is located at POST headquarters in West Sacramento, CA. The office is located in a two-story building with a business park setting.

THE SOQ MUST BE TYPED ON 8 1/2 X 11 PAPER USING ARIAL 12-POINT FONT, INCLUDING THE APPLICANT'S FULL NAME AND DATE AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE.  IT SHOULD NOT EXCEED 2 PAGES IN LENGTH.

1) This position requires the incumbent plan, organize, direct, and supervise the work of the Professional Conduct Bureaus analysts and support staff, as well as provide them with training and mentoring to develop and improve their performance. The position also requires the incumbent to possess strong analytical skills and an in-depth understanding of complex regulatory and statutory requirements that direct much of the Bureau's programs.  Please describe your experience, training, education and personal qualities that qualify you for this position.

2) Describe your experience preparing workload analyses to support regulatory or programmatic requirements. Include examples of any performance metrics you developed, how you monitored those metrics, the tools you used, and the outcomes achieved.
