The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing and building e-commerce applications for the Android platform. This role involves ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications while collaborating with a team to define, design, and ship new features.Key Responsibilities* Design and build e-commerce applications for the Android platform.* Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.* Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.* Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.* Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.* Lead and mentor junior developers.Required Qualifications**Experience:** 5+ years of experience in mobile application development, including a proven track record of designing and developing a complete Android app from top to bottom.**Technical Skills:*** Android app development with Kotlin.* GraphQL and REST API integration.* Expert knowledge of Java, the JDK, and the Android SDK.* Advanced Android UI Skills (Fragments, Custom view components).* Experience writing multi-threaded and networked applications.* Expert level debugging and analysis skills using ADB.* Experience with the application submission/provisioning process.* Expert knowledge of IntelliJ or Android Studio.* Web Services experience as it relates to mobile apps.* Experience with protocol buffers.Preferred Qualifications* Experience with Android Play Store and GQL/REST API.* Experience having worked with OpenGL or the NDK and high-performance graphics code. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
