Receptionist - Full Time

Clinic Receptionist The Receptionist greets patients and visitors, manages front‑desk operations, and ensures a smooth patient flow while upholding Trinity Health mission and values. Key Responsibilities Perform patient check‑in, verify insurance eligibility, and collect copays and deductibles. Schedule appointments according to office guidelines. Answer and direct phone calls appropriately. Enter patient demographics, insurance, and other pertinent information into the Electronic Health Record and other systems. Collect and process time‑of‑service payments and past‑due balances. Copy/scan hard‑copy materials such as IDs, referrals, and insurance cards into the electronic medical record. Maintain confidentiality and uphold clinic and regulatory policies. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification within three months of hire. Completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to the population served within three months of hire. Ability to read, write and understand English and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and colleagues. Capacity to maintain confidentiality regarding patient information. Personal presence characterized by honesty, integrity, and care, with ability to inspire and motivate others.
