Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical examinations and detailed medical history evaluations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions via the interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment options
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, such as preparing surgical environments, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments promptly
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, patient education, and seamless discharge planning

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completed clinical rotations with a focus on surgical care

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
