Material Handler - 1st Shift

Material HandlerNesco Resource is sourcing qualified candidates for Material Handler roles with our long-time parts manufacturing client in Taylor, Michigan. This is a contract-to-hire role! Shift(s): 1st 4 am to 1 pm Monday through Thursday, with 2 mandatory OT shifts on Saturday per month *Shift times differ per department* Pay: 18.00/hr Responsibilities:Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using equipmentOperate forklift in a safe mannerLoads and unloads materialsStock incoming and returned materialsPack goods following a specific set of instructions/proceduresMaintain a clean and safe work areaPerforms other related duties as assignedRequirements:Prior forklift/hilo experience preferredFamiliarity with scanning/inventory equipmentAbility to stand on the concrete floor and work in cold, heat, or humidity for the duration of the shiftAbility to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl and twistNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
