This position is located in the Dietary & Food Services Department of the Department of the Veterans Home of California - Fresno and is responsible to lead, instruct and work with employees in serving and/or assisting with the preparation of foods and beverages; cleans and maintains food service equipment, utensils, and work areas as required.

Effective July 1, 2025, California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025). PLP 2025 directs that state employees shall receive a three percent (3%) reduction in pay in exchange for five (5) hours of PLP 2025 leave credits, monthly. The salary range(s) included in this job advertisement do not reflect the 3% reduction in pay.
