The ideal candidate will perform CT procedures according to established protocols while ensuring patient safety and high-quality diagnostic imaging. Responsibilities: Perform CT procedures according to prescribed protocols to ensure accuracy and consistency. Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques to produce quality diagnostic CT images. Perform daily quality control and calibration checks on imaging equipment. Administer injections and contrast materials as ordered by physicians and according to established protocols. Complete all required documentation, logs, and reports in compliance with department and regulatory standards. Perform quality assurance, quality control, and safety testing. Follow radiation safety guidelines and adhere to ALARA principles. Maintain, retrieve, and manage patient imaging records for radiologist interpretation. Order, receive, verify, and document patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses according to policy. Assess and respond appropriately to patient needs before, during, and after imaging procedures. Requirements: Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) Radiography License (L.R.T.). ARRT Certification in Radiography. Current ARRT CT Certification. AHA BLS Certification.
