Job Description

Job Title: Agricultural Millwright

Location: Sioux, IA

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $28 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical systems used in agricultural production, such as conveyors, dryers, mills, and other related equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on agricultural machinery and systems.
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure the reliability and efficiency of equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to complete work assignments.
Assist in the setup of new equipment and modifications to existing systems.
Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and equipment performance.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all maintenance activities.
Work closely with the production team to minimize downtime and improve overall system performance.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in Millwright or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Millwright, ideally in the agricultural industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a safe work environment.
