As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will lead a team responsible for producing therapeutic proteins in a highly regulated cGMP environment. Your leadership will help ensure safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing operations while supporting the delivery of life-changing therapies to patients worldwide.This is an exciting opportunity for a manufacturing leader who enjoys developing people, driving operational excellence, and solving complex challenges in a fast-paced biotechnology environment. You'll play a key role in production planning, team development, compliance oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, MSAT, Scheduling, and other support functions.Shift: Rotating 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) on an alternating 2-2-3 schedule.What you will getAn agile career and dynamic working cultureOpportunities to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing manufacturing teamExposure to advanced biologics manufacturing processes and technologiesA collaborative environment with cross-functional partners across the siteCompensation programs that recognize high performanceMedical, dental, and vision insuranceOpportunities for career growth and leadership developmentWhat you will doLead daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, compliant, and on-time execution of the production scheduleCoach, train, and develop operators through performance management, career planning, and ongoing development activitiesMonitor manufacturing activities to ensure compliance with cGMP requirements, quality systems, SOPs, and safety standardsReview batch records, logbooks, and production documentation to support timely batch release with minimal errorsCoordinate activities across multiple departments to troubleshoot equipment and process-related issuesSupport recruiting, onboarding, staffing, and workforce planning activitiesDrive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining inspection readiness and operational excellenceWhat we are looking forAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline, or a high school diploma/equivalent with relevant experienceManufacturing experience in a cGMP-regulated environmentPrevious supervisory or team leadership experience preferredStrong understanding of quality systems, GMP compliance, and manufacturing operationsExcellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skillsExperience leading employees through training, coaching, and performance developmentAbility to work cross-functionally and effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic production environmentAbout LonzaAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
