Job Title

Travel RN – ER Transport / PCU

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ER transport and PCU/stepdown setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care during transport and unit-based care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and timely patient transitions
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate clinical interventions

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina or a compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience , preferably in PCU, stepdown, or ER transport settings
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to meet facility credentialing and compliance requirements prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience in intermediate care, PCU, or stepdown unit environments
• Familiarity with ER transport protocols and patient handoff procedures
