As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Alarm Systems in Jacksonville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and badge procedures. You will respond to alarms, use computer or tablet systems as needed, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorization as directed, and maintaining awareness of visitor and employee activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
