Mecka AI is building the data infrastructure layer for robotics and embodied AI.
We design and operate global systems for data capture, data labeling, and hardware-enabled workflows used by leading AI labs and robotics companies to train and validate humanoid and embodied AI systems.
We work closely with frontier robotics teams to bridge real-world data, simulation, learning-based systems, and deployed hardware.

The Role

We're hiring a GTM Associate to open doors with established businesses that could become Mecka data partners. Reporting to the Data Partnerships Lead, you will research accounts, engage decision-makers, and turn initial interest into qualified opportunities for the Lead or an Account Executive. This is an outbound business-development / SDR role focused on prospecting, initial qualification, and useful handoffs

What you'll be doing:

• Build accurate company and contact lists in priority segments, identifying why each business's data may be relevant and who can evaluate a partnership.

• Generate conversations through personalized email, phone, LinkedIn, and other approved channels, explaining how businesses can unlock value from their existing data.

• Qualify business fit, the plausible data opportunity, the relevant contact, and willingness to explore a partnership; surface confidentiality, rights, and delivery questions without promising terms.

• Create qualified opportunities accepted by the Lead or AE, with substantive discovery meetings and clear notes on stakeholders, fit, concerns, and next steps.

• Keep outreach and opportunities moving through consistent follow-up, account re-engagement, and accurate CRM records that let the closer continue without starting over.

• Improve targeting and messaging by using handoff feedback, downstream opportunity quality, response patterns, and recurring objections to refine the outreach playbook.

What you bring:

• Evidence of effective prospecting, business development, lead generation, or comparable customer-facing work.

• Strong account research and clear written and verbal communication, including focused outreach and thoughtful initial conversations.

• Persistence, organization, and reliable follow-through; able to handle rejection and adapt without constant supervision.

• Coachability and a willingness to use feedback and work toward measurable outcomes.

• Based in New York or willing to relocate.

Even better if you have:

• Experience with CRM, account research, and outbound prospecting tools.

• Experience reaching senior operators or technical decision-makers, or helping build an early-stage outreach process.
