Opportunity:

Ultrasound Technologist - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Specialize in Maternal Fetal Medicine, primarily caring for high-risk pregnancy patients
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio
• Work alongside a team of 5-6 sonographers daily, 4 MFM Physicians, 3 NPs, 5 RNs, and support staff
• No floating required
• Orientation typically 2 weeks or until competent with workflow
• Perform advanced scans of various anatomical areas, identifying cross-sectional human anatomy and distinguishing normal from abnormal findings
• Apply advanced knowledge of fetal abnormalities and their diagnosis
• Utilize EPIC and AS OB/GYN software for electronic medical records
• Operate GE Voluson Ultrasound machines
• Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills to work effectively with physicians, patients, and other staff members
• Maintain basic computer proficiency including email and electronic medical records
• Minimum 1 year of sonographer experience specifically in Maternal Fetal Medicine required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARDMS with specialty in OB/GYN
• Scrub color: Any color
• Free parking available in attached underground lot
