Role Description The Registered Pharmacist - Overnights will perform key pharmacy operations within the inpatient pharmacy department, including verification of IV medications, reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, and advising with ancillary team on the correct use of medications. The pharmacist will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal treatment outcomes while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This is a full-time, 13 week on-site contract position located in Chicago, IL, and requires availability for overnight shifts, (4 overnight shifts per week X 10 hours per shift). Position commences mid-June and concludes in mid-September. Qualifications Licensure by the Illinois state board of pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacist Technical knowledge of prescription systems, medication dispensing, and regulatory compliance Strong communication and patient counseling skills to provide clear and professional guidance on medication use Proficiency in collaboration with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy outcomes Highly detail-oriented with outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities Prior experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting is required Ability to thrive in an overnight shift schedule and adapt to dynamic situations as they arise #J-18808-Ljbffr
