Job Description

Job Summary:

Assists in surgical procedures by providing skilled support in the operating room. Ensures adherence to safety protocols and maintains sterile environments throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by arranging surgical instruments and supplies.
• Assist surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and managing equipment.
• Maintain sterile fields and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
• Monitor patient status and communicate any updates to the surgical team.
• Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment post-procedure.
• Support staff with documentation and inventory management as needed.

Qualifications:

• CST certification from NBSTSA required.
• Minimum of 2 years of CST experience in a surgical setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of different surgical procedures including laparoscopic, ENT, urology, plastics, and others.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
