Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 3x12 hours (18:00 - 06:30)

Seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in telemetry and be comfortable working with a pediatric population, as the unit occasionally admits pediatric patients. This role requires a commitment to patient care, teamwork, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

• Provide quality patient care in a Med/Surg unit.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry for patient assessments.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Document patient care activity accurately in Meditech.
• Perform patient education and discharge planning.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med/Surg and telemetry nursing.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
• PALS certification is mandatory prior to starting due to pediatric admissions.
• Must possess a valid RN license.
