Description: Staff Nurse - Per Diem - 11:30 am to 12 am - Dialysis Center

Adult - Pediatric inpatient/outpatient

This is a per diem position, 11:30 am to 12 am, for adult/peds inpatient and outpatient at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. The dialysis center is open 6 days a week.

Preferred Criteria:

• At least two years of acute care renal RN experience.

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Complete Nurse Residency Program if new Graduate.
• Current New York State RN Licensure.
• Knowledge of nursing process: social, behavioral, biological and physical science.
• Knowledge of current health care environment.
• Knowledge of customer service principles.
• Knowledge of effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of use of computer applications.
• Ability to analyze patient care data to deliver and evaluate care.
• BCLS certification.
