Join our team and be part of a group that respects and empowers your expertise! POSITION SUMMARY: The Insurance Coordinator will prepare copay estimates and review insurance benefits with patients. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. JOB FUNCTIONS: Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties: Coordinate with insurance providers to verify dental coverage and determine patient co-pays and out of pocket expenses Ensures coordination of benefits are accurate and considered as part of the financial planning. Requirements Two plus years preparing copay estimates, claim resolution, and insurance verification - Preferably in Dental Accounts receivable experience - Preferably in Dental Positive attitude with focus on positive patient experience Exceptional organization and communication skills Bookkeeping skills; basic knowledge of accounting Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail Multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize work accordingly Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work autonomously under the pressure of tight deadlines and multiple priorities Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook A Plus If You Also Have (preferred, but not required): Prior experience using dental software including Open Dental If you are looking to join a team with a positive environment, apply today!
