We're currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quilt Machine Operator to join our team in Greene, NY. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating quilt cutting and sewing machines in a continuous flow manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to production and quality standards.
• Identifying process disruptions or malfunctions and making minor adjustments according to standard operating procedures and protocols.
• Performing routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance on quilting equipment.
• Following all safety policies and procedures defined by the company safety program and OSHA regulations to eliminate work-related injuries.
• Practicing Lean principles and participating in Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects.
• Manufacturing sufficient quantities of quality quilted products per specified standards.
• Setting up and operating automatic or semiautomatic quilting machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
• Monitoring the quilting process using meters, gauges, and related controls to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
• Reporting any malfunctions or abnormalities and making minor adjustments and repairs to quilting equipment.
• Fitting, aligning, calibrating, and adjusting parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairing units or products that have failed to meet requirements.
• Selecting and measuring raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for quilting production processing.
• Resolving issues related to the quilting production, machinery, and processing operations.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Entry level with little or no experience.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing operations environment preferred.

Your work environment will involve physical demands typically found in a manufacturing environment, such as but not limited to: prolonged standing, bending, lifting and/or moving material.

Working Shift Hours: 3:30pm- 12am (Midnight)

Pay Ranges: The pay ranges for this position are: $23.00/hour Differential is $2 Compensation will be based on experience, skills, and overall qualifications.
