Social & Community Storyteller Intern

About the role SCALE is GMI's startup program, and we're looking for someone to be its social and community voice - while also supporting the Clouders, our ambassador program. You'll own our SCALE presence across X, LinkedIn, and Instagram, help grow the program's community activations, and to support the Clouders - GMI Ambassador Program. If you live on social, love telling stories, and get energy from bringing a community together, this is a hands-on role with a lot of room to experiment, learn, and see your work reach a real audience. What you'll do Plan, write, and publish content for SCALE across X, LinkedIn, and Instagram - turning what happens in the program's community and events into stories people want to follow. Support SCALE community activations: help organize, promote, and show up for them, and keep members engaged in between. Support the Clouders (our ambassador program) - helping recruit, onboard, and activate engagements of ambassadors, and keeping the program running smoothly. Capture content in the moment - photos, clips, quotes - at activations and events, and turn it around quickly. Keep a light content calendar and track what's working (reach, engagement, follows) so we can do more of it. Must-have Native fluency and genuinely good instincts on X, LinkedIn, and Instagram - you know what performs on each. Strong writing and storytelling - you can make an ordinary update feel worth reading. Organized and reliable - you hit publish dates and don't drop threads. Comfortable with basic design/content tools (Canva, Figma, CapCut or similar). Energetic and people-first - happy showing up to events and talking to our community. Nice-to-have Basic graphic design or short-form video editing. Comfort reading basic social analytics and adjusting based on them. What success looks like in 90 days A consistent, on-brand posting rhythm for SCALE across all three channels; measurable growth in engagement; a smoother-running ambassador program; and a running library of community and event content the whole team can draw from. #J-18808-Ljbffr GMI Cloud
