Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specialized in Operating Room procedures to join a dynamic perioperative team. The ideal candidate will provide expert nursing care for surgical patients, ensuring safety and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist with surgical procedures by circulating and scrubbing in the OR.
• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary sterile supplies and equipment are available.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to intraoperative needs, maintaining patient stability.
• Document all clinical activities accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EPIC preferred).
• Adhere to trauma level 1 standards and protocols during procedures involving trauma cases.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work rotating days, evenings, weekends, and call shifts as required.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid RN license and current BLS/ACLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience, with experience in trauma level 1 environments.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required, with the ability to adapt quickly to new settings.
• Proficient in EPIC EMR system within the past 2 years.
• Skilled in circulating and scrubbing for diverse surgeries including ortho, URO, oncology, neuro, and plastics.
• Strong knowledge of Da Vinci Robotics and other advanced surgical technologies.
