Responsibilities Display a warm, personalized and caring welcome by greeting our guests upon arrival to their table. Present menus, answer questions and make personalized suggestions regarding food and beverage pairings. Place guest's orders according to cooking and prep times, ensuring a seamless and impeccable service. Partner with team members to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests' expectations. Communicate with guests to ensure their satisfaction and collect additional feedback and insights. Respond to additional guests requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process. Clean and set up the dining areas for the following service. Refill service areas according to the departments' standards. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by leader. Qualifications Exhibit food knowledge. Must be able to detail and define all ingredients on the food menu, and recommend menu pairings accordingly. Must be familiar with cooking methods and prep times. Display wine and beverage knowledge. Must maintain accuracy of all items on the food, cocktail, beer, and wine menu. Organized and detail oriented with the ability to be flexible. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds. #J-18808-Ljbffr Highgate Hotels, LP
