Job Summary: Responsible for the operation of diagnostic sonography equipment and the performance of all ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision. Procedures will include, but not be limited to, abdomen, obstetrics, gyn, pelvic, soft tissue, abdominal vascular, thyroid, testicular and breast. Competent with all age groups. All services are provided in accordance with the philosophy, mission, objectives, and policies of Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. Provides services to patients of all age groups, including newborn to geriatrics.

Qualifications: Education: Completion of an accredited ultrasound training course or comparable clinical experience. Completion of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology also preferred.

Licensure: Registered or eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or equivalent certifying organization. Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist also preferred.
