Stand Up Forklift Operator - New Albany
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Stand Up Forklift Operator to work with Alene Candles, LLC in New Albany. This role supports warehouse operations by safely loading and unloading trailers, transporting materials, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Shift Patterns
- 2nd Shift Monday through Friday 2:30 pm until 10:30 pm. Mandatory overtime when required.
Pay Rates
- 24.50 USD hourly
Essential Requirements for Stand Up Forklift Operator
- Minimum 1 year of stand-up forklift experience required.
- Experience loading and unloading trailers within the last six months required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime when required.
Desirable Requirements for Stand Up Forklift Operator
- Experience using RF scanners preferred.
Role for Stand Up Forklift Operator
- Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers.
- Move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods throughout the facility.
- Verify product counts and inspect shipments for damage.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory movements.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Location: New Albany. The position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling, and working in varying warehouse temperatures.
