Description

• Assess and analyze patient needs in an inpatient or outpatient context and craft personalized treatment strategies
• Deliver effective physical therapy interventions that enhance mobility, strength, and overall functionality
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, doctors, case managers, and rehabilitation professionals to ensure top-notch patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic aims, discharge processes, and at-home exercise regimens
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress, adhering to both facility and regulatory standards

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is a preferred but not mandatory requirement
