Summary: This individual is responsible for managing the overall flow and operations during a scheduled shift at the café, while delivering excellent customer service when interacting with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively lead a shift and provide direction to staff to ensure operations run smoothly
• Monitor breaks ensuring that they are running according to schedule and legal requirements
• Monitor food quality and operations in back of house
• Take the lead in ordering, stocking and replenishing items needed for service
• Attend to customers and exhibit excellent customer service skills
• Ensure DOH compliance and occupational health and safety compliance is met at all times
• Exercise authority to manage hours of café staff based on the business
• Escalate issues to Store Manager when necessary
• Assist with banking and cashing out for each shift
• Perform other duties as necessary

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of related experience
• Strong ability to multi-task
• Excellent brand knowledge
• Ability to perform under pressure without constant supervision
• Ability to anticipate needs based on environmental and guest cues
• Ability to work a variety of stations
• Ability to lead a team and diffuse any work related issues
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs and stand for extended periods of time
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
