About the Position

Job Title

MRI Technologist – Travel Contract

Location

Shawnee Mission, KS

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM | No weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with facility protocols and patient care standards
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safetyprovide on-call coverage on scheduled days as required (minimal call obligation)
• Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient scheduling and imaging workflows
• Ensure compliance with credentialing and facility-specific requirements prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
• Active ARRT (MRI) certification or ARMRIT certification required
• At least 1 professional reference covering entire work history
• Ability to complete all credentialing requirements at least one week prior to start date
• Overtime must be pre-approved; not guaranteed
• 2-week notice requirement upon assignment conclusion

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume imaging environment
• Familiarity with evening shift workflows and patient throughput demands
• Strong communication and adaptability skills in a travel assignment setting
