Job Title Physical Therapists - PT THER - Travel Location Hackensack, New Jersey Contract Details Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week Employment Type: Travel Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Hackensack, NJ. The role requires evaluating, developing, and executing a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in an acute care setting. Responsibilities Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff. Bill within the setting following guidelines and facility regulations. Understand and comply with the PT board rules and regulations of the state. Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plans of care. Understand adaptive equipment. Evaluate and create a plan of care. Modify plan of care as indicated based on patients’ condition. Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Stand, walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Demonstrate sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged. Exceptional candidates with 1 year of experience may be accepted. BLS certification. State‑specific licensure. Additional certifications may be required before assignment. Compensation Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
