Employment Law Attorney with ERISA Experience - Any Parsons Office

Parsons Behle & Latimer is seeking an employment law attorney with significant ERISA experience in any city where Parsons has an office. Parsons is a regional law firm headquartered in Salt Lake City that has national expertise in numerous practice areas.The firm is at the forefront of the legal communities in Utah, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Wyoming, and the Intermountain Region. The ideal candidate will be able to provide expert legal counsel on employee benefits and compliance issues, while navigating the complexities of ERISA. This role involves working with a diverse range of clients including businesses, plan sponsors and fiduciaries. Legal Counsel and Compliance Provide guidance on ERISA compliance, employee benefits plans, fiduciary responsibilities, and related regulations Litigation and Dispute Resolution Represent clients in ERISA litigation Policy Development Assist clients in developing ERISA-compliant policies Transactions and Due Diligence Conduct due diligence on employee benefit plans in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions Advise on potential risks, liabilities, and compliance issues related to employee benefits in corporate restructuring Requirements and Qualifications Significant experience in employment law, with a strong focus on ERISA and employee benefits Demonstrated experience in ERISA compliance, fiduciary responsibilities, and benefits plan litigation Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Good judgment and adherence to high ethical standards Strong academic credentials Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Admitted to practice in any city where Parsons has an office or ability to be admitted by motion in that state Parsons actively recruits to obtain an applicant pool of candidates from a variety of diverse backgrounds.
