Description
  • Conduct evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and create personalized treatment strategies
  • Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
  • Partner with nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehab professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercise recommendations
  • Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress following facility and regulatory standards
  • Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure seamless patient care
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
Certifications
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • CPR certification preferred but not mandatory
  • Specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric therapy) are advantageous but not essential
Skills
  • Previous experience is highly preferred
