E-Commerce - Content Specialist / Catalog Specialist

Location: Morristown, NJ

Pay Rate: $31-$33/hour

Assignment: 6-month contract

Overview

The Catalog Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate and complete product and catalog data across internal systems and external platforms. This role partners cross-functionally with operations, sales, supply chain, and IT to ensure product information is current, compliant, and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update product catalog and master data, including item setup, pricing, specifications, and attributes
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of product data across internal systems, PIMs, ERPs, and customer-facing platforms
• Support new item setup, product changes, and data corrections in a high-volume environment
• Perform regular audits to identify data gaps, discrepancies, and quality issues
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve data issues and improve data processes
• Assist with data migrations, system updates, and catalog clean-up initiatives
• Document data standards, processes, and best practices

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in catalog management, product master data, or data coordination
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis)
• Experience working with ERP systems, PIM tools, or product databases
• High attention to detail and strong data quality mindset
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in retail, consumer products, manufacturing, or supply chain environments

Work Schedule

• Hybrid schedule (combination of onsite in Wayne PA and remote work)
