Job Opportunity: OB/Gyn Physician

Candidates should have experience in practice development or start-up environments and be comfortable in a rapidly growing, dynamic setting.

The perfect candidate will be a proficient OB/GYN capable of offering a comprehensive range of obstetric and gynecological services. This includes routine well-woman care, labor and delivery, and both hospital-based and outpatient surgeries, catering to a diverse patient population that is socioeconomically, culturally, and medically varied. Additionally, the candidate should thrive in a technology-driven environment and a culture focused on hospitality. There is also potential for this role to evolve into a management position as we expand.

• Align with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
• Monitor and provide care for patients during pregnancy and childbirth, including prenatal and postnatal services, and collaborate with midwives as needed.
• Maintain a strong record of delivering high-quality routine women's health care, with expertise in diagnosing and treating gynecological and obstetrical conditions.
• Conduct follow-up appointments to track patient conditions, utilizing telemedicine when appropriate.
• Possess knowledge of pharmaceuticals, including side effects and potential interactions.
• Recognize signs of physical and emotional abuse in patients.
• Provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population, considering socioeconomic, ethnic, and linguistic factors.
• Direct and supervise medical staff, including nurses, nurse practitioners, and medical assistants, ensuring adherence to proper procedures and protocols.

• Graduate from an accredited medical school with Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Possess a valid medical license or the ability to obtain one in the District of Columbia.
• Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in a hospital or private practice setting.
• Must be credentialed with commercial and government third-party payers.
• Proficient in electronic medical records and comfortable with technology.

• Compensation Range: $261,250.00 - $346,750.00 per year, based on experience.
