This is a contract-to-hire position with a competitive salary range of $85,400.00 - $134,200.00. While this is our intent, it is not a promise to hire by Northrop Grumman. - Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on spacecraft components.
- Utilize various measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines.
- Inspect and perform tests on mechanical, electrical, or structural components and assemblies.
- Make decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of work and tests performed.
- Work from drawings, diagrams, customer specifications, and inspection instructions.
- High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of additional education and/or experience in quality assurance or inspection.
- Experience using measuring devices like calipers, micrometers, and gages.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- US Citizenship required.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working in a team environment to solve problems.
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing, mechanical assemblies, and/or electronic assemblies.
