Splunk Architect Lead

To support cybersecurity initiatives, the full-time Splunk Architect Lead will define, guide, and oversee the architecture and implementation of Splunk capabilities, ensuring optimal performance and governance in both remote and onsite environments. Key Responsibilities Define and maintain the target Splunk architecture, including indexer clusters and deployment servers Serve as the technical lead for Splunk engineering activities, providing mentorship and direction to technical teams Lead design efforts for platform performance, capacity, and data lifecycle management, ensuring integration with broader operational environments Required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L clearance 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related technical roles 5+ years of hands-on Splunk administration or architecture experience in enterprise environments Proven experience designing and supporting complex Splunk environments Strong understanding of Splunk architecture, including indexers, search heads, and data onboarding processes
